Campground Policies

Reservations
Reservations are strongly recommended for the months of May through September. A 100% deposit is needed to secure a reservation. A 3-night minimum reservation is required for holiday weekends (see obseved holidays below). Reservations may not be available less than three days prior to arrival.  Call the campground to check availability.

Reservations by Phone
Reservations by phone should be made two weeks prior to arrival so that the deposit has time to reach us. The deposit must be by check. Checks must be in US funds. Credit cards are not accepted for phone reservations. The deposit must reach us prior to the arrival date or the reservation will not be held. Reserve now.

Reservations On-Line
On-line reservations can be made at least three days prior to arrival. The deposit must be by credit card. Specific campsites can not be reserved on-line, but a site can be requested and will be assigned if available. Reserve now.

Check In (Check-in: 1:00pm – Check-out: 12:00 p.m.)
Charges for additional days, extra people, vehicles and pets will be added to your reservation and will need to be paid upon check-in. All reservations must check-in and register. A reservation does not eliminate the requirement to register on arrival.

Cash or check is required for final payment when you check-in. Checks must be in US funds. Credit cards are not accepted. An ATM is available.  Any refund will be by check after the day of arrival.

Cancellation Policy
A 100% deposit is needed to secure a reservation. In the case of cancellation, any balance will be refunded after deducting cancellation fees. The cancel fee is equal to the first nights charge per campsite if reservation is cancelled more than 5 days before the reservation date. If the reservation is cancelled within 5 days of arrival or you do not show up, there is no refund. Refunds will be sent by check.

No Show Policy
If you do not show up, you will be charged for the entire reservation.

If you have multiple sites reserved and upon arrival you cancel a site, there will be no refund of the deposit for the cancelled sites.

If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation, we must hear from you by 10:00am of the second day, or the remaining days will be cancelled and the site released for use. 

Dog Policy
Friendly dogs are welcome, however, they must be on a leash no longer than 8 feet, kept with owner at all times and may not be left unattended at the campsite. We have an off-leash dog play area in the park. Limit, two dogs per site without prior approval. Please be courteous to other campers - clean-up after your pet.

Sorry, no aggressive breeds - Dobermans, Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, or any mix of these breeds. If your pet demonstrates aggressive behavior, regardless of breed, or there is excessive barking, your pet may be asked to leave the park. Acceptability determined by management. Other Information

  • No more than six people, two vehicles, and two pets per site.
  • Dogs on leash are permitted by the National Park Service on some beaches, inquire at check-in.
  • Day use is permitted from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.  Fee is $3.00 per person, under 5 are free.
  • No generators allowed at any time.
  • Holiday Weekends: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night of the following weekends: Presidents Day, Memorial Day, and Labor Day.  Fourth of July holiday will vary.
  • We Accept cash or check.  Credit cards are not accepted.
  • Coin machine and ATM available in Laundromat.
